Successful entrepreneurs continually seek ways to improve the management and operations of their business, often seeking outside advice to deal with particular challenges. The SBDC (Small Business Development Center & Minority Business Center) provides free management counseling and affordable workshops to prospective and existing small businesses. Topics include business plan development, financing, cash flow management, human resource issues, marketing, international trade and government procurement. The SBDC represents a partnership of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Massachusetts Department of Business and Technology and the University of Massachusetts.
