| The UMB
Career Services office in the Campus Center offers a variety
of resources and services for the student job seeker. Graduates of the
University can take advantage of these services throughout their careers.
The earlier you start planning for your job search, the better off you’ll
be. If you are not sure what career choice is right for you, use the
assessment tool called Pinpoint to
help you understand your options. There is also an extensive list of links
to career planning material that you should explore. On campus,
there is a Career
Resources Library located in Career Services on the 1st floor
of the Campus Center.
Do you think an internship will help you achieve your job aspirations?
Explore the requirements and possibilities for internships
offered through the College of Management. If you want to receive
credit for the internship, you will need to meet with
the Career Services Specialist for Management to enroll in MGT
480.
The University Career Services Office offers career fairs, seminars
and other special events throughout the year. Check the Special
Events listing on the home page for the current schedule.
If you want to interview with on-campus recruiters, plan ahead and keep
checking the schedule
for recruiters of interest to you.
