Decision Support Systems and Groupware
This course focuses on technology that enables decisions which are critical to success. Decision Support Systems integrate data, quantitative models, knowledge bases, user interfaces, and communication tools to meet the needs of managers and executives during their decision making process. Spreadsheets, which are used in most organizations, will also serve as an application development platform in this hands-on course. Students will learn power-user skills to create powerful, relevant and reliable spreadsheet applications for a variety of business uses.
