Lean Six  Sigma Quality Management

A revolution in management methods, labeled `Six Sigma, Lean Process Management, and Concurrent Design Methods¿, is moving through the economy at break-neck speed. This course studies how these new methods guide management in creating growth products and services and lean process performance capable of delivering Six Sigma quality quickly and at low cost. The methods synchronize all flows of information and material with the demand rates for the products, resulting in the desired competitive advantage and sustained profitable growth.

Prerequisite

MSIS 110, a minimum of 60 credits, and one of the following: MSIS 111, MATH 125, ECON 205, PSYCH 270, SOCIOL 350. MGT students only
