Exciting Chance to Earn Credits on a Learning Trip to China
The
MBA program is offering an opportunity to visit
China this June and earn course credit in the process. Two
weeks in China
under the guidance of Prof. Raymond Liu will expose
students to many aspects of Chinese business practice and culture.
The
course will operate from the prestigious Tsinghua University
in Beijing. It will feature lectures by Prof. Liu
and faculty at Tsinghau University and field trips to Chinese
businesses and 2008 Olympic venues. The final segment of the course will involve visits to corresponding
Boston-area businesses to complete the comparative analysis.
This course will count toward the specialization in International
Management and will satisfy the International Business requirement.

New
Course for Summer II 2005
MKT 697, Customer Relationship Management, Professor Marylou
Roberts. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is an ongoing process
of developing relationships by identifying customer needs and delivering
superior customer value and satisfaction while achieving the organizational
goal of maximum return on customer investment. CRM is perhaps the
most important strategic concept in the field of marketing today;
CRM initiatives are in great demand but have met with only limited
success. Both the opportunities and risks inherent in the adoption
of a CRM strategy provide ample reason for rigorous and detailed
study of the subject.
This course will count toward the specializations in Marketing
and Internet Marketing.
