Announcing CM Executive Education Seminars

CM is offering a series of seven in-depth executive education seminars on topics ranging from information systems security issues to Six Sigma management to service excellence.

Program Notes


Specializations

Completing a specialization is not required, but doing so may be beneficial to your education and future career! The course requirements for each are available on the CM Web Site. The form you need is also on the site. You should declare a specialization before you complete the Degree Application Form (see next section).


Graduation

If you plan to graduate this fall, you should check with us to make sure you have met all the degree requirements. You also need to fill out a Degree Application.You should turn this form in no later than November 1 if you intend to graduate in December.


Career Services

The College of Management’s new Career Services Specialist is Kristy Cullivan. She will begin her tenure at UMass on September 13th; please join us in welcoming her to the CM community. Ms. Cullivan, who holds an MBA and an M.A. in History, brings several years of career development experience in higher education and has worked extensively with MBA students in placement and career planning. We encourage you to stop by, introduce yourself, and explore your career options!



From the (New) Director's Chair


Bill After 8 years of wonderful service to CM, Dan Robb has accepted a position with George Mason University. Please join me in wishing him all the best.

For those of you whom I have not met, I am Willam Koehler. I was the CM Writing Coordinator and worked closely with Dan. I am committed to comtinuing the great strides our program has made in the last few years and ask for the assistance of all of you. Your suggestions are most welcome, as is your participation in recruiting and alumni events.
