MBA Program Waiver Policy

Policy for Course Waiver:

In order to be considered for course waivers in the MBA Program of the College of Management, students must demonstrate they have successfully completed course work equivalent to that of the core courses offered in the program. If a student (1) can demonstrate equivalent graduate or undergraduate course work in the last seven years from an institution of recognized standing, and (2) has received a minimum grade of B or higher in those courses, the student, upon admission to the Program, may submit a request for waiver of credits to the Graduate Program Office. For each course waived, the total number of semester credits to complete the Program is decreased by three. MBA courses can only be considered for waiver with advanced undergraduate courses and/or equivalent core courses from another graduate management program. Waivers are granted at the discretion of the graduate program staff and are not assured; the information below provides general guidelines.
