Paths |
Students who pursue the accounting
concentration will be prepared to enter a variety
of careers in both public and private accounting,
including budget analyst, financial accountant,
managerial accountant, taxation specialist, auditor,
and more. Credits earned will go towards fulfilling
the 150-hour requirement for the CPA
exam.
The accounting concentration will take at least 3 semesters to complete once
the first concentration course is taken, due to the sequential nature of the
required courses (AF301, AF311, AF470). |

The prerequisites for these
courses are strictly enforced, so accounting concentrators
should plan their schedules carefully and early.
Accounting concentrators should check with the
department chair before taking the internship course. |
