CM INTERNATIONAL REQUIREMENT
All students in the College of Management will be
required to take one (1) course with an explicit, dominant
international focus devoted to modern issues (post
World War II), meeting at least one (1) of the following
guidelines:
1.Promote the student’s knowledge of how to
be a manager in an international environment.
2.Enhance a student’s skills for work in a specific
foreign country or region.
3.Enhance a student’s understanding of other
cultures or economic systems.
Students from a foreign country must select a course
which emphasizes a country other than their own or
the United States of America.
Below is a listing of appropriate UMass/Boston courses
which will fulfill this requirement. The course which
a student selects to satisfy the International Management
requirement may also be used to fulfill a College of
Management General Education, Concentration or an Elective
