MAP Ongoing Opportunities

If you find that attending events conflicts with your work and/or class schedule, please look out for updates as we will be adding more opportunities for students to earn miles on their own time throughout the semester. Three of these additional opportunities to earn miles that are now available to students are as follows:

First, students can apply to submit a Career Portfolio (up to 200 miles). This project is designed for students who have current or previous professional work experience. To access an application and more information, please visit here.

Second, students can earn MAP miles by becoming a member of one of the three College of Management student organizations. Below is a list of these organizations:

Accounting and Finance Academy
Delta Sigma Pi
MSIS Club

Students will earn 50 miles for each semester that they are an active member. Also, the College of Management is always open to ideas for new student organizations. If you have any ideas for new student organizations, please email mapcm@umb.edu.

Third, students can make an appointment for a career exploration assessment, also known as PinPoint, through University Career Services (CC-1-1100). Students can earn 50 miles for completing the assessment and an additional 25 miles for attending a follow-up appointment with a Career Counselor. For more information, please visit the Career Services website.
