has become an integral part of virtually all aspects
of business, students who complete the MIS concentration
will be able to pursue a wide variety of career
options. MIS graduates are in demand both in IS
and non-IS companies in both the private and non-profit
sectors. MSIS graduates have found employment in
a variety of industries including: health care,
transportation, government, high-tech, financial
services, education, and manufacturing. Career
paths lead from entry points in systems development
and database administration, network technology,
